IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Our objective is to provide you with high quality products which exactly meet your requirements and have them delivered to you on time. To help us to achieve this we ask you take note of the following terms:-
Printed Products
Please note that prices and lead times can vary considerably depending on your requirements. All prices are subject to sight of artwork and we can only give firm print & film prices on submission of final artwork. Please contact our sales office for further information.
Specified Pantone colours are matched as closely as possible. However, how a particular Pantone looks can vary depending on the substrate on which it is applied and therefore an exact match cannot be guaranteed. If it is critical to match a specific colour on a particular substrate then this needs to be discussed at an early stage to enable sample prints to be prepared and approved.
All artwork should be of actual size and supplied wherever possible as an EPS file with type converted to paths. This should if possible also be accompanied with a PDF file to check against.
Please note that your product may have weld seams, rivets and other components which need to be taken into account when designing and positioning print. Our sales office can assist and advise as required.
We will send you, by e-mail, a dimensioned black & white PDF Proof of your artwork, positioned on a drawing of the product, for your approval. To ensure we meet your requirements, we will not commence printing until your written approval is received. Any subsequent alterations will require further proof approval and may result in delays to quoted delivery dates and in certain cases additional charges.
Our manufacturing schedule is based on approval of the proof being received from you within a maximum of 48 hours.
Samples
Pre-order samples: The production of Samples and any related new tooling, may be chargeable. Please talk to our sales office for any clarification in this regard.
Pre-Production Samples : With orders involving new tools, we may request your approval of a pre-production sample. To maintain quoted delivery dates we require such approval from you within a maximum of 48 hours. For your safeguard, we will not commence production until we receive such approval.
Punched Holes & Apertures
We do not normally clear punched holes or apertures in products such as polypropylene boxes and wallets (when supplied flat and unmade). Please let us know at the time of your enquiry if you need to have these cleared.
Polypropylene Products
Warning note: Polypropylene can be distorted by close contact with certain litho inks & varnishes - particularly those with a high mineral oil distillate. As well as using the correct inks (vegetable/Soya based inks are recommended) it is suggested that any litho printed media, to be used in close contact with polypropylene, is sealed by film lamination. Please note that, unless we are advised in writing of your intended use of these products, we can accept no liability in this regard.
Quantities
With bespoke products it is difficult to produce exact quantities. Although we do our best to manufacture the exact quantity ordered, in the event of a shortfall, not exceeding ten items or five percent of order quantity (whichever is the greater) we will treat your order as complete. We will guarantee exact quantities only if this request is made at the time of enquiry, and confirmed in your written order.
Delivery Dates
Quoted delivery lead times are based upon how busy we are at the time. These are held firm for orders received within 48 hours of our quotation. We will confirm revised dates for orders received after this period.
For printed products, lead times are from receipt of artwork. For products incorporating customer-supplied materials, delivery dates are based on receiving such materials no later than seven working days before the required dispatch date. Please note that a delay in supplying artwork or materials may have a disproportionate effect on delivery dates.
Price Validity
Subject to any particular provisions in our quotation, prices are valid for 60 days after dispatch of quotation.
Packing, Carriage & Delivery
Carriage : If carriage is included in our quotation, this would represent delivery to a specified address in one consignment (unless stated otherwise). If split deliveries are required (by date or address) and/or timed deliveries are required then these should be specified at the time of enquiry. Subsequent changes may incur additional charges.
Boxed Products : Unless specified otherwise, product will be supplied packed in our standard boxes, to maximum efficiency and to minimise packing & transport costs. If you have special packaging requirements please discuss this with our sales department at the time of enquiry.
Palletised Products : If you require goods delivered on a vehicle with a tail lift please specify at the time of enquiry - a small additional charge may be levied depending on method of carriage.
Polypropylene Document Wallets and boxes : If the product contains no fittings (such as mechanisms, studs, handles etc) then these will be supplied flat unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation of Order
If for any reason you decide to cancel an order then we will invoice the value of any reasonable cost of work done - up to the date of cancellation together with the cost of any special tooling made and materials bought in for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
